Summary

Your data stays on your device. Googol Vibe is a local-first application that connects directly to Google's APIs using your own credentials. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data.

What We Don't Collect

Your emails, calendar events, files, or tasks
Your Google account credentials
Usage analytics or telemetry
IP addresses or device identifiers

How It Works

Googol Vibe connects to Google Workspace APIs using OAuth 2.0 credentials that you create in your own Google Cloud project. This means:

You control the OAuth application
Tokens are stored locally in ~/.googol-vibe/
All API calls go directly from your device to Google
No data passes through our servers

Optional Telemetry

Googol Vibe includes optional, disabled-by-default telemetry for crash reporting. If you choose to enable it, we collect only:

Error stack traces (no personal data)
Application version
Operating system type

This data is processed by Sentry and used solely to fix bugs.

Third-Party Services

When you use Googol Vibe, you interact with:

Google APIs - Subject to Google's Privacy Policy
Sentry (if telemetry enabled) - Subject to Sentry's Privacy Policy

Data Storage

All application data is stored locally:

~/.googol-vibe/credentials.json - Your OAuth client configuration
~/.googol-vibe/tokens/ - OAuth refresh tokens
~/.googol-vibe/config.json - Application settings

Your Rights

Since we don't collect your data, there's nothing to delete. To remove all local data, simply delete the ~/.googol-vibe/ folder and uninstall the application.
